To a limited extent, the Conservatory can receive visits from/organises guided tours for interested persons from other educational institutions, folk high schools, et cetera.
RMC visits have three target groups:
Group 1: Universities and colleges
Music academies, partners
Music academies, other
Universities with relevant study programmes and/or research
Artistic study programmes with relevant interdisciplinary aims
Group 2: Musical education institutions for young people which are of relevance to the Conservatory
Preparatory class for conservatories (MGK)
Talent lines of the music schools
Upper secondary schools with music at A-level
Folk high schools with music specialisations
Private independent schools and continuation schools with music specialisations
Group 3: Other educational institutions
Group 1: This group may be offered individually-planned visits on request, in accordance with the objectives of the visit. A visit may include a presentation of the Conservatory, study programmes, observation of teaching, guided tour, et cetera.
Group 2: This group may be offered a fixed visit package on request, consisting of a presentation of the Conservatory’s study programmes, followed by a guided tour. Due to limited resources, RMC can offer up to a maximum of three visits per semester on a “first come, first served” basis.
Group 3: RMC does not normally receive visits from institutions in group 3. However, under special circumstances, the Conservatory may decide to accept a visit.
Motorists are advised that the entrance to Holmen from Prinsessegade is blocked by a bus gate. A detour along Kløvermarksvej must therefore be used.
There are parking spaces at RMC, at Eik Skaløes Plads. Parking fees are payable.
Bus 9A from Copenhagen Central Station stops around 50 metres from the main entrance to the Conservatory.
Water buses 901 and 902 berth at the Opera, approximately 100 metres from the Conservatory’s main entrance.
